Happy April - Let's Celebrate!

April is one of our favorite months because we get to celebrate - A LOT!  We have three Birthdays and one Wedding Anniversary to celebrate all in one month. As a Mom, there is nothing more exciting (and rewarding) than seeing your kids grow up and celebrate their accomplishments made in the past year. I am lucky enough to share my birthday month with two of my sons; Thatcher and Caje. We celebrate each of us on our Birthdays and then have one big celebration with family and friends.

In our family, we love traditions and birthday traditions are our favorites! We spoil everyone with their favorite things throughout the day. When the birthday boy or gal wakes up, we greet them with birthday love and their favorite breakfast. I’m already looking forward to my 3-egg white omlette with mushrooms and spinach. After school and work, we have dinner as a family, whatever the Birthday person picks. The kids usually pick Pastichio or making fresh pasta as a family. My favorite birthday dish is Chicken Kapama or going out to eat sushi. We then head back home, open gifts and eat a homemade birthday cake. For my birthday, I love having my Grandmothers’ Italian Cream Cake.

We spoil the kids a bit on their special day but for me, the best gift I could get is a handmade card from my family and time with them. Of course, we all have a small Birthday Wishlist though, take a peak at ours!

THE BOYS' WISHLIST
They're really into cooking and next up on their list, to master, is to learn to make Chocolate. We are going to sign them up for a Chocolate making class and wrap these molds up for them to open!

Next on the list is the
Harry Potter Complete Book Series Special Edition Boxed Set. They can read this series over and over! Last but not least, the Double Shot Deluxe Basketball Arcade Game. I don't know who will be more excited - us giving this gift or them receiving it!

 MY WISHLIST

A facial and a massage are always at the top of my list and I have a feeling I will be getting both this year!!! I also love going to the theater and taking in a new show. I've had my eye on these Ray Ban Aviator Sunglasses, a new cookie jar and the mophie Wireless Charging Pad. All the gifts aside, as long as I get to spend time with my family on my birthday, that’s really the only gift I need.
