My Fave Dinnerware Sets

If you're going to be cooking up some tasty food, why not serve it in nice dinnerware. Presentation is a major part of the culinary experience. Eating out of bowls and plates that are aesthetically pleasing will enhance your meal. Take the time to plate your food, garnish if you'd like and use dishes that you love to look at it. Trust me, it makes a difference! I'm going to be sharing some of my favorite places to buy dinnerware and some sets that caught my eye.

Ikea FLITIGHET Dinnerware Set

You can't go wrong with a classic white dinnerware set. The one pictured above is from one of my favorite stores, Ikea. I don't know if y'all like HGTV but I love all their shows. Time and time again, I hear designers on there say that no house is complete without something from Ikea. I couldn't agree more! This 18 piece set is super affordable at just $19.99. If you're into food photography, then bright white dishes like these will look great in every photo and make your food pop!

Sur La Table REACTIVE GLAZE STONEWARE 12-PIECE DINNERWARE SET

If you want to add a splash of color to your kitchen, then check out this Reactive Glaze Stoneware Dinnerware Set from Sur La Table. Sur La Table is my one stop shop for all my kitchen and dining needs. I love this set because its glaze will shine in the light and reflect it across the room. This set will also look great in your kitchen, especially if you have open shelving. Stoneware dishes are a great option if you're looking for durable pieces that have a bit of weight to them.

Our Place Essentials Collection

Over the past couple of years, there has a been of a wave of cookware brands emerging with responsibly sourced products and modern, earthy color palettes. I love seeing the culinary industry moving towards a more inclusive, eco friendly direction. One of these brands is called Our Place. The warm hues of their dinnerware set make me want to sit down and take a load off. Can you imagine if these bowls were filled with your favorite comfort food?

As you're shopping for dinnerware sets, I encourage you to explore companies that have been around for decades as well as up and coming brands. Just remember to get dishes that makes you feel good. They'll add personality to your kitchen and sprinkle a little joy on your day when you're eating out of them.
