Talking from the Heart

Living a healthy life has been my philosophy for as long as I can remember. I am thrilled to have created a platform for healthy cuisine and have the ability to bring that to everyone through my cookbooks, restaurants, and shows, as well as into my own life with my family!

I am kicking off February, American Heart Month, discussing Heart Health. All month long, I will share on my social channels my healthy recipes and tips on living a healthy life. Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women, killing more women than all forms of cancer combined. By eating healthy and staying active we can lower our risk for heart disease by as much as 80%, according to the American Heart Association. As an advocate for healthy living, I am excited to share more with you!

I am a proud partner of WW because of their commitment to “inspire healthy habits for real life”. Together, we curated and launched the first ever WW Freestyle Café: BKLYN, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. This was an exciting first step in bringing healthy habits to where people are – even in the most unexpected places.
