Wellness Challenge + Countdown

Wellness Challenge + Countdown

I am counting down the days to my 52nd Birthday with a Wellness Challenge. Every day, I am exercising, staying active and sharing it all with you. Everything from quick runs near the house, to answering emails on the elliptical and even treating myself to a SoulCycle class -  I am making it happen! I LOVE hearing what you are all doing on social media as well! It really helps me stay motivated and focused.

Week One of my Wellness Challenge is in the books and I am feeling so much stronger each day. Last week, I shared my active-wear essentials and this week, I am sharing what keeps me going through my workouts!

Pre-workout I have a snack that is high in protein. Two of my favorite, and easiest, snacks are a small handful of almonds or some 0% Greek Yogurt. Thrive Market has the highest quality organic, non-GMO products and offers wholesale prices at 25-50% off retail. With fast and free delivery, it saves time and money for my family and gives free memberships to low-income American families. Music is the other thing that keeps me going during my workouts. It allows me to focus and have even more fun.

My Beats by Dr. Dre - Powerbeats³ Wireless earbuds have the best sound and always stay in my ears, even when I am running or doing jumps. They are on sale right now for $99.00 from Best Buy. Grab them!

I also love the SPIbelt Running Belt. I keeps me hands free when I am exercising but allows me to have important things with me while I’m on the move - like my keys and phone.

And last, my playlist! My playlist changes based on what kind of exercise I am doing but typically I love a mix of old, new and various genres to keep things fresh and to keep me moving!

  1. Chaka Khan - Ain’t Nobody

  2. Rihanna - Work (feat. Drake)

  3. Stevie Nicks - Edge of Seventeen

  4. Post Malone - rockstar (feat. 21 Savage)

  5. Kendrick Lamar - Humble

  6. Depeche Mode - Blasphemous Rumors

  7. Tears For Fears - Sowing the Seeds of Love

  8. Bob Marley & The Wailers - Three Little Birds
