When You Have A Sweet Tooth

When You Have A Sweet Tooth

I proudly champion eating healthy and living a well balanced life. Part of that balance is indulging in a tasty sweet treat every now and then. When I teamed up with WW to create recipes packed with nutrients and flavor, I knew I'd have to add recipes for those like myself who have a sweet tooth.

The first recipe I'll share with you are my banana two-tone s'mores. Unless you're lucky enough to have a fire pit in your backyard, you'll be making these s'mores in the comfort of your own kitchen. While some of you may be tempted to put marshmallows on a fork and roast them over the stove top, this could get extremely messy. With this recipe, you'll arrange the bananas, marshmallows and chocolate chips on a graham cracker and broil it in the oven. That way you'll get a mouthwatering, warm dessert and an easy clean up!

Coconut Graham Berry Yogurt Parfait

Sometimes a craving for something sweet can come early in the morning. If this happens to you, you should make this coconut-graham berry yogurt parfait. This morning delight is all about texture! The greek yogurt is smooth and creamy while the graham cracker crumbs and toasted, shredded coconut provide a nice crunch. Since you'll be using a plain fat free greek, the sweetness will come from the coconut, graham cracker crumbs and mixed berries. This recipe will make 4 parfaits. One for you and the rest for your family, friends or roommates.
The best thing about this recipe is that you can make these parfaits in just 10 minutes.

Ricotta Hotcakes with warm cinnamon apples

When you have a bit more time to cook, you've got to try my ricotta hotcakes with warm cinnamon apples. Ricotta cheese is the key ingredient to making these hotcakes extra moist and fluffy. Don't worry, they won't taste cheesy, just delicious! By cooking the apples until they're soft, you'll be releasing their natural sweetness. This makes for the perfect topping on your hotcakes!

I love these recipes because you'll get to satisfy your sweet tooth without overindulging. I hope you try all of them and let me know which one is your favorite!     To get started on a WW journey today and access to more recipes like this, visit ww.com.
