I call this an Ouzotini! A refreshing, Greek-inspired cocktail.
Ingredients
4 ounces Pomegranate juice 4 ounces Pineapple juice 2 ounces Ouzo 2 ounces Vodka 1 teaspoon Fresh lime juice 2 Lime slices, for garnish Ice
Instructions
1.In a martini shaker, combine all ingredients with 1/2 cup of ice. Shake well and strain into 2 chilled martini glasses rimmed with sugar. Garnish each glass with a lime wedge.
Budino in Italian means pudding but this is more like a molten cake, moist and almost gooey in the middle when served warm from the oven. I like to serve the budino with a scoop of homemade Banana Chocolate-Chunk Ice Cream (in my cookbook, Cooking From the Hip), but it's also great with creme anglaise and fresh raspberries or strawberries.
